Sept 10th Winston-salem airshow/Car show

The winston-salem air show is going on Sat and Sunday. I have been talking to the car show organizer and he said he would like to have 3 or 4 clubs represented there. We happen to be one if not the earliest that has shown interest. Anyone showing there vehicle will be given 2 passes for each day showing and they will provide a boxed Lunch. Participants will have to be at the show by 9:30 am and stay until 4:30pm due to crowd considerations. They are still in the planning stages for the 2011 show so he couldn't say exactly how many spots we would be given. he did say the last couple of shows the 2 clubs that were there had 8 to 10 spots. we may be able to get more. If we have the people interested.

I got more info from the people puting on the W-S Airshow. they said they have a few clubs interested but said we have first chance. they have Carshow planned for that sunday and said around 15 cars is what they would be looking for. Let me know if anyone is interested in this. here is the Email they sent me......

Our local car members were invited to the Air show in Winston Salem today and all members were admitted FREE of charge; They had a Canopy Tent set up for all of us and a FREE box lunch too. It was a "NO Trophy" event and just to show our cars and talk about our cars and clubs.

Had an amazing time and ONE family left there 10 year old son with me all day. Very nice young man and he was explaining all about my SHADOW; for those that don't know this is my 06 Magnum SRT.

Forgot my camera and will load pictures here as other members post them up on our local car clubs web site.

Tee did NOT go as she was having what she call a GrandMother/GrandDaughter day and spent the whole day with our Grand Daughter Lay-Lay. What a nice time they said they had and are still watching movies together.
