True that, I've heard you can use mini morimoto projectors and not have to cut or drill anything. And they are going for like 120-200 bucks online. Plus the HIDS and your done. Alot of retro places uses these and charge an arm and a leg for it.

numbers is fair especially since he does all the work and he'll paint them for you too, he gets large and small morimotos from a reliable place....hell i may even do em myself just get the parts from him....

I know a guy that would do my set for 300 still a good price. But mine are already painted, clear side lense so I would rather take them apart and install the projectors myself. Reality is I will never do it because I dont care to much about the cut off line. ;)

So you order from HIDextra, have you ever had problems with the ballasts? I had so many broken ones I only order the slim ones anymore.

thats funny cuz about half of the magnetic ballast were DOA or dead after a month, I even got a kit from another vendor same thing. Never had an issue with my slims.

I've heard of lots of problems with the slims. Never had an issue with the ddms or the xenonlink ones. I ordered another set from hidextra on monday. I know alot of guys with these and no issues same as the ddmtuning ones. The only thing I had an issue was with ddm warranty claims which were false on their half.

i know a few guys that use retro solutions. they have a retro fit kit for our rams 200.00 and that is everything. with halos and led's. i dont care for either of those so i would opt to get the gatlen shrouds. but for the price and that includes 55w hids

I have problems with my set that was done by Jeremy...... not gonna get into it here, if you want a retro, do it yourself and save yourself the money and the hassle.
