Thanks...been a busy couple of weeks. Was on vacation for past 2 weeks. Grandson is down visiting for a month. Been to Lego Land, Plant Museum, Victory Ship, Lake Kississimee for a air boat ride.

It's my oldest's sons car 2015 v6 auto he loves it, 348 hp stock he races it at auto cross events in Brooksville and Tampa, it only has 7000 miles on it. He took a vacation to Dragons Tail and the Chaloua Parkway went to some caverns there it was his first vacation and he enjoyed it. Dragons Tail is in the corners of northwest Georgia, southwest corner of South Carolina southeast corner of Tennesee in the mountains it is an 11 mile stretch of mountain road with 318 curves very popular with motorcycle enthusists but the import guys have found it to be a challenging road and flock there to run it, he said when he went it was weekdays so there were no big crowds but he did run it with and older guy in a GTR!!!!

the Genesis club meets there the same weekend in October

He has a go pro and filmed the drive but it was god awful boring this is something you gotta experance first hand, the other was Cheeloeah Parkway he said speed limit was about 35-40 on the tail he ran a few times at 50-55 but he felt he was not good enough to go faster,on the other hand the parkway was 50-55 he said average speed for him was 65-80 there due to the sweeping curves. He has had this car above 150 several times here in town and says it still has more throttle left. He told me tonight he loves this car but really wants a Challenger or an STI [?] whatever that is.

I really want a Challenger R/T and i have been looking for months however i don't want payments just a little more than a Challenger plus i hate where i work [burnt out] so i can't commit myself to being stuck because of a car payment!!!

My plan is to retire at 62 [I'll be 57 in march] and work part time play with old beaters [buy,fix,sell older cars] that's if the government don't pull the rug out from under me before then!!!

Retired from Verizon back in 2006...took a few years off and started with the school system in 2008. Decided to keep going until 62 anyway.

That's cool will you have enough time with the school sys. to get a pension from there? All i'm hoping for is Social Security i'm still gonna have to do something part time but i feel it's easier to work when there's money coming in you don't have to worry about.

Yep...have to work 6 years to be vested. My 6 was up last year so will get small pension from FRS. Wife also works for school system and she will be vested next year...same for her.

Between pension from Verizon, school and SS we should be ok...I hope anyway.

Kinda makes me rethink things when i retire and how the hell do i do this every day!!! I suppose my projects will just take longer [something i'll have to get accustomed to] i'm still in that got ta get'er done now mode and every time [cause i never learn] i pay for it, only this time it's worse than it ever has been!!!! I moved everything out of my shed reorganized and put it back and emptied my porch and put all that in my shed so the porch can become the dogs kennel [so many friggen cats around here shitting everywhere] she keeps getting sick so now [hopefully] she won't!!!!!
