Not really Foose is a very talented person but some of his ideas border on ruining a car, what i hate is just about every car they have done is for someone whom [by the looks of their house and other toys]could afford to have the vehicle fixed up i can't remember one build [other than that VW for that guy with the medical problems] that the mark was just a paycheck to paycheck working person. It kinda makes me not want to watch any more [i will however cauze i love cars].

Thought I posted earlier...guess I forgot to hit enter or something...
Watched one of the shows a few weeks back...Workers were a little to silly for my taste. Would like these shows a whole lot better without all the drama (staged?) and acting silly.

I have to agree with the comment from Lou.... I can't relate to the demographic of the targets on Overhaulin' so I stopped watching it too. Feel more at ease watching Wheeler Dealers or seeing Ryan Kindig's builds.
Anybody saw the Glasurit Green Super 'Cuda that Peter Clute's shop built? THAT one is a BEAST! Sounds like a fighter jet with the twin turbos on that Viper engine.
But guess who designed the color scheme and styling on that car?
Foose is a great designer and builder, but tastes will always vary. Even with wrapping cars, in my case.
Love to watch Wheeler Dealers!

Wheeler dealers is my favorite [car flipping] show both those guys are down to earth and not greedy and Ed China walks you through what he is doing to fix the car and why he is doing it. Kindig is a very good builder and i love some of his cars, but he's a high end fabricator well out of reach of common working folk. I have been in the hobby since 89 and racing since the mid 70s i love the amount of car/motorcycle programs that are on TV now however it has also ruined the hobby for common working guys like myself due to the idea that these programs make people think that all old cars are worth a fortune no matter what condition and they also drive the restoration parts prices up.

Yep...why I don't watch any of the restoration type shows. Only watch W/D, Whats my car worth, Classic cars, etc.
