projector hids for 07 dodge ram

Im having trouble with the new lights i got, there hids with projectors and i can't make them work. They'll work with the truck off but as soon as u turn the truck on they flash three times and go off

HIDs are tricky, your model year usually requires resistors to make them work properly.

Probably something like this

I bought those and put them on and they still don't work, they will flash three times and then go out.

make sure its well grounded.

I don't know what you mean about making sure it is grounded it is all plug and play and the harness with the load resistors is also plug and play, so im not sure what you mean about making sure it is grounded.
Danial im not sure what you mean about which ones they are the black housing with projectors and a lighted eye brow and halos and they are hid projectors.

The resistors need a solid connection on both hot and ground or they will not work like they should. Do the resistors get hot to the touch at all with the engine off and Low beams on?

I have had a resistor harness that was wired up incorrectly. They had the hot side and ground side tied in together on both resistors and both harnesses. That was never going to work ha. Although rare, that would be something to check.

that is the harness i got for my lights Danial and when the lights are on and the truck off only one of the resisters is getting hot the other one stays cold on both sides. Thanks speedy for the help and you too Danial.

Well they sentvme something else to try with my lights.they said it was a relay kit but really looks weird .going to try them tomorrow

Well the stuff that they sent me didn't work so i talked to jerimy from ramforum and he is sending me a harness n hope it works

well the harness that Jeremy from retro-shop llc sent to me worked like a champ, i am loving my hids not i just have to get then adjusted right.
