The other thread is locked. Jay the first weekend of november is Garlets show some of us are going saturday [myself] and others sunday i suppose.

I would like to say something too! I appreciate this forum & everyone in it, Im very happy to be apart of the family, I was looking forward to the picnic, I do think it was lil late in the day & for some that are driving from a far on a Sunday with work being the next day & things to do when you get home it really makes sense to make it in earlier afternoon, which I did suggest.. Also the second date was kinda thrown out there which would of worked out but I'm trying to buy new shoes for my car & I need to watch my cash flow, sorry that conflicted with my promise to go to the picnic.

I think both idea's to do a BBQ & a Restaurant get together would be great times!! So let's all try to get back to what we wanted to do from the start & plan both in future so everyone has a choice of which one they can attend. I prefer to attend one that is not near the first of the month not good for me financially, just sayin

Mike thank you for the effort really! I know we have a cruise set Dec 1st in Sarasota so that will be a great time to see members:) I live 20 min's away so this one I will attend!

mmm....mike did put alot of hard work into that idea...fact of the matter is we should still go with it...because it was a ton of wasted time for everyone planning and talking about...either way im down

Kind of hard to say for me at this time. Last game of my sons regular football season is this Saturday. However, they are division champs and are in the playoffs and we now have some games on Sunday and some on Saturday. If they lose in the play offs, I could be free any weekend from NOW til Nov 17th...however, if they go all the way to the Superbowl, I will be tied up until November 17th.

wow - gone for 2 weeks and now there is no BBQ tomorrow? Glad I didn't start cooking that pork butt... Sorry November is completely out for us, between shows, parties, walk a thons and thanksgiving - we are actually completely booked up until January. Darn, and we were really looking forward to that BBQ tomorrow...

I'm just saying for an Idea... In my last truck club(great club) we had a Christmas party GTG with a picnic and a secret santa exchange and it was a blast maybe it could be something for DEC???
