Alright i sold my 3865 tuner and now i'm wanting either the Diablo Trinity or the Superchips vivid. I have not been able to really check out either tuners even though we sell them where i work. I like the custom tuning option from the diablo but is it even worth it on a 4.7L with shorty headers, ram air intake, and aero turbine muffler exhaust?

I have the advanced transmission tune with Superchips and I love it. Does Diablo offer anything like this? Superchips told me i can transfer it to the Vivid if i bought the vivid. So what do you guys think i'll be happy with?

thats some coin you spent on the vivid...personally i junk superchips tune and went to SCT tune...its all based on what you do with it...more miles per gallon, towing, a lil more top end etc. i think you will be happy with it...if not junk it go to SCT

Well i have not purchased the Vivid yet. I'm just researching at the moment. I dont think SCT supports the 4.7L, Which sucks because that would have been my #1 choice.

What year is your truck?

With my 04 my diablo does not allow for transmission tuning, but as far as engine tuning goes it has way more options.

I'm sorry Hemifever offers the SCT DCX 9550 Tuner that supports the 4.7l. Its just a handheld tuner though.

4.7 right? Diablo supports that one too, and as long as the trinity and the predator have the same tuning features, it does more than the superchips, and allows for a custom tune later on down the road if you need one.

You should be able to trans tune with your 06, it says 05+ supports it.

Yeah you do have a point. The diablo might be more valuable to me later on. I just paid my ram off so i do plan on putting some H/0 cams in when i get enough saved up.
