2013 show

Hey guys. Ive been tossing around the thought of another benefit show. Do you guys want to be the title club again? If so which benefit would you like to see the money go towards. I have 3 options that are close to my heart.
Military
student ambassador
Abused children's home

All would be local in the Tampa bay area. I have done light research on the Joshua house here in Tampa and it pulls my heart strings. Let me know what you all think.

I think it would be neat to do it for a children's organization. We could possibly get the said org to maybe bring out some underprivileged or abused kids to spend the day looking at some awesome vehicles. We could even do a photo of each kid with all of us SEM/TWS members, someone could run to a Walgreens and print them out maybe get some cheap photo frames to put them in and we could find some generic medals to give each kid??

I know there are so many shows out there for wwp. Its kind of redundant. Nothing against the military Bc our last show was all military. But to me the abuse home is a biggy. I think everyone should look up the Joshua house and read about it. It houses the children who were abused or neglected.

Everyones homework is to look up that org and you all tell me what you think. Then I will give them a call and see if they are accepting. Sometimes some organizations of that type only bring the kids out under cover because of their abusers following them. But I will find out.

And that I have worked with abused children before. And Daniel I will get with qsl I'm sure they will be down and will donate too. Plus we should allnknow that parking lot like the back of our hands lol

Biggest issue we need to make sure gets handled with qsl is making sure the parking lot is clear and empty before we get there. If I have to go cone and rope off the night before I will

The cars there before were for a park n ride to Daytona for the 500 if I remember correctly. Maybe something to keep in mind when a date is decided. Although, QSL may draw more of a crowd when a major event such as this is taking place.

The biggest thing to me too is that they are a 5013c. Which they are. We can have low entry fees but donated items are appreciated too. Like sanitary items. Toys. Etc

That will increase particatiom too. Bring an unwrapped toy worth at least x.xx amount and entry fee will be reduced to x.xx. Something like that.

Should we be concerned with the fact that two days prior to Saturday the 16th is Valentine's Day?

I know it's not a major holiday (well, not to us guys anyway LOL) but thought I would throw it out there in case it needed to be considered.

agreed here, agreed with all said comments, as you all know saturdays are the worst days for me, i hope this being this far out i can work something out.

Remember i home during the day if theres any leg work needed to be done calls to be made ect. I can help out too.

I myself and obviuosly our club is in aggreeance that this type of event will bring a shedded tear from us light hearted people...Be more than pleased to be a part of it.

I've finally had a chance to catch up and read this thread, and I'm loving the idea. I'm also loving the time frame you are looking to do it, because I'm looking to take a trip down sometime between Feb and April of 2013. So if I can plan it for that weekend, you can count me in for this show!
