Yep seen it somewhere? can't remember where. Basicly you need a stick shift steering column [junkyard item] or collar off of one and a floor shifter.

The shifter comes with cable and all of the associated hardware to install [i may have a cable in the shop some place] if your gonna piecemeal it together, one came with the charger.

Greg (Redtruck-VA) has a very nice z gate shifter which from the boot design you can prob' keep your cup holders.

I have the B&M Truck mega shifter as mentioned. To lazy to dress fit the boot so just left it off and it helps in clearance of my cup holders.

The install of the B&M was simple enough using the forum DIY's as a good resource.
For the linkage i drilled a hole through the nipple for the B&M cable to go in and that allowed to use all the gears. If you dont have it lined correctly then you prob' wont be able to ratchet down to 1st.

dayton hemi pics of his linkage which is what i used to modify mine.

The removal of the column shifter was a PITA but had help from a local member and then relocated the OD.

Love the Satin Black paint myself but for a while i am done with the PITA maintenance of a black vehicle. The Satin Orange really blends in the dirt and i can also go back to satin black when ready since the orange is a wrap.

The caltracs are holding up great considering the lack of attention i done to adjusting them.

Thanks all. Its not everyone's taste but i am please on how it came out. Also since its a wrap i can always take it off when i want to go back to my paint job.
