MOPARs On The Mountain Gatty 5.0

Well, I got to say Merry and I had a blast this weekend. We got to Gatty early Thursday Afternoon and checked in and others started checking in later that night. Friday was actually day one which started with A caravan to Applewood Farms Rest. Then there was a reception at the park near the hotel where we got our information packets. I didn't take pics of the breakfast or the reception cause I know you guys are more interested in the cars and trucks. After the reception we lined up for a cruise through Gattlinburg with a police escort. The line of MOPARs had to be over a mile long. Got pics of that.
At the end of the cruise everybody went to either Newport to the drag strip or to take a trip on the Dragons Tail. Merryand I chose to go back to the hotel and collapse...so no pics....LOL. Saturday was the show and auto cross. It looked like some one opened a bag of skittles and dumped them out. Any color and model you could ask for. Sunday was the awards banquet.( sorry I didn't get anything....LOL) boring so no pic's. Good BBQ though. Then Monday was another trip to the Dragons Tail or Go Karting. Merry and I left Sunday after the awards so again no pics. Enjoy the slide shows I have attached.

It would be great if we could plan on attending next year and get a bunch of us to go..........We had people down from Canada sooooooo.....we can do it...LOL

Thanks for shairing my pos computor won't let me look at all the albums but from what i saw it looks like a beautiful area,was there any classic mopars or is this mainly a newer mopar event [no offence].

There was a 72 Charger with a 392 doing the auto cross. The rest were newer Mopars. It just turned out that way. I know they said that they would like to see some of the classic muscle get involved. Just have to reach out to the classic muscle community. That would be great....

God knows i'm trying here but the classic mopar guys are fickel they don't like to come out to play much. Most of them have a newer mopar as a driver.

Well we will just have to start campaigning. MOPARS are MOPARs new or classic. They need to see the pics. There is one thing that everyone appreciates and that is classic muscle. We can try,
