Finally got a hood for RamIt!

HUGE THANKS and KUDOS go to Adam for finding it for me and to Lee for going to pick it up for me while I was in PA. Without you two guys, I dont think I would have been able to get it.

Now, for the hood. Its a Steel reinforced Fiberglass hood made by GoodHood. It sells anywhere from 800-1100 bucks and I scored it on Craigslist for 300 bucks.

Now you may think Fiberglass would = cheap ricer flimsy, but this thing is built like a brick shit house (how Lee and Adam described it...lol)

I think it gives the truck a whole new look!

I'm still waiting for mine to get here so I can get mine painted and put on.

I had fiberglass on my stratus and it was strong. Its just has to have the ribs like factory on the inside of the hood and your good.

Yes, it is functional with a specific Ram air box also made by Keystone...it runs about $350 and seals to an opening in the hood.

well it actually works with my K&N CAI too. Lee and I noticed that the opening from the scoop actually seals down against the intake box. So its fully functional!
