Is any one going to the car show in Hickory this coming Saturday?

It appears that they have NO catagorys for newer cars. Wife and I and some friends are planning on going to Saturdays show at the VFW in Norwood NC off Highway 52. This event has lots of things going on.

I emailed them and they said that newer models were welcome and that they had so many that didn't register in a class that they added a generak class. It's only an 1 1/2 hours from us which is about what we drove to get to any of the shows in Florida.

The wife & I are going and we will stay over and return home on Sunday. Gonna make a little get away out of the car show.

I was told there is a little car wash about a mile or so past the school. I am going to have to rinse down at least. What time are you planning on being there? Let me know. It would be great to drive in together.

We will probably leave here between 6:30 and 7:00. that would put us down there about 9AM. So lets meet at the car wash at 9AM. It'll give us time to tidy up....lol....
