It was so nice out and I knew I wanted to do something to one of the cars and as I went out, I remembered that I had a real bad spot on BLUEs rear quarter panel by the door. The previous owner had hit something and messed it up; it was scraped right by the lower rear wheel and the lower part of the door. Looks like it had been hit there by a white car. About two months ago or longer I had bought the paint at O'reillys and sanded, primed and painted. (Did not clear coat as I was told that the clear was already in the paint.) Anyhow over time this paint turned bad and kind of had a yellow tint to it; so today, I resanded and put three more coats of BLUE and then two coats of Clear to see if this will stay longer. NOW... I know I'm no painted so it's NOT great but way better than it was and it no longer has the yellowish tint.
Then I added a HEMI badge to the dash, after painting the letters yellow. Just something else to do. Had the badge painted for a few days now.
While waiting for the paint to dry, detailed up the engine a little. Still have more to do to finish that up.[/COLOR][/B]
And a couple of pictures...
