I've had a mod in the garage for a few months that I really wanted to try on my test mule "BLUE". Spent about a week sanding, adding adhesion promoter, then priming and painting and added the small HEMI emblems.

I know MOST FOLKS were gonna hate it..... but I just wanted something extremely different that NOBODY had done before.

I planned on adding TWO hoods scoops in parallel, just to make it different and unique and having the TWO HEMI emblems in the grille portion. Something similar to what the 67 Chevelles SS's had.

AnyHOW..... After all this work, measuring to insure the straightness and all and sticking them done; about a half hour later that pulled themselves LOOSE. Ended up taking the back off and detailing the stock hood back up. No harm ~ No foul.

Back to the drawing boards...... And YES, Tee and I DID check just putting ONE on and looked OK but just like too many others I've seen.

Yeah Jim, I agree with the Jason and Kevin. But then again, you stated you knew most folks weren't going to like them.

And Jason, I'm pretty confident I know the situation you are referring to.

Really just wanted something different for my BLUE car; too bland as is. I surely cannot afford an aftermarket hood like I would like. Cleaned them up today taking off all the old sticky stuff and NOT sure what, if anything, I will do with them.... We'll see.
