Rear bumper

[BAD HABIT]

I will be removing my rear with in the next cpl weeks to have it powder coated, I will be using a local company who did a set of wheels i unfortunately had to trade for the ones im on now. Any advise on removal, what i should look for or be aware of....

IDK about the third gens, but my rear bumper literally took 15 minutes to unbolt and replace with the one I bought.

That's cool just let me know. I'm sure you remember me asking about them before so if it's one that bolts right on to the factory cross member you can consider it sold.

I saw one on Craigslist a few weeks ago a guy was trying to sell with a dent in it for 175. With that being said I think your price is fair he was asking too much for it IMO.

I have seen alot of them on craigslist for 50-100 I have sold 2 for 75 with no issues in the past chrome and painted black.

No Drew i had bad luck where i had my grill and stuff done, with that being said i may just do this my self to get me by, i got quoted 165 from alt koncepts. The bumper is sold to a nice guy, $150 installed, Yes yall i even installed it for this man, who i believe joined our site. Roll Pan is ordered just hasn't arrived yet. Latest date it said was 4/5/12 which aint bad...but that means ill be busy during the time it arrives...ugh...but my dad will be here and i havent seen him or any of my side of the fam since my wedding.

I was just told today that one of my workers friend's does powder coating...I can get with him tomorrow and see how much he will charge if ya want.

roll pan is installed, had to drill a few extra holes and one in the corner to run wire to my recon strip, no its not painted yet but i will do that soon. yall know me, i just had to install it. the only gripe i have is the gap between it and the tailgate, dont get me wrong it left me room for my recon strip and im glad for that. ill post better pics tomorrow....the ones i posted to fb were dark...

Make sure you research those really good before you buy them. I have heard a lot of stories that when they are on anything by reg cabs, exhaust fumes tend to get into the cab.
