My poor Charger :(

Most of you have probably heard or seen the damage on facebook, but for those who haven't, I got rear ended last night. I was coming out of the Strawberry Festival last night in Plant City (Now I'll always have bad memories of your city, Lee, lol), stopped at a light, and some 19 year old girl in a Grand Cherokee wasn't paying attention. She plowed into the back of me, and then pushed me into the car in front of me. 5 cars total involved. Thankfully everyone was ok, but not so much for the car. I'm going to have Tim from Alternative Koncepts do all the work on it. (He's the same guy that did all the work for Uzzi on his Chally, and the Cianfrocca Mustang.

That sucks. The rear end is bad, but how bad is the front? I know what you are going thru Art. I had a lady rear end my Ram doing 45mph and she shoved me into the truck in front of me. To see both ends busted up only made me want to cry.

The front end isn't as bad. Bent the brackets on the push bumper, cracked the front fascia, broke the tabs on the headlights that hold the side marker lamps in. Hood and front fenders appear to be ok. Thankfully the pushbumper prevented the airbags from going off.

Today I decided I'd have a little fun, while at the same time, sending a good message. Driving to work tonight I saw some people pointing, chuckling, even a few taking pictures! LOL

I swore that if anyone hit me while doing that i would sue the crap out of them [i don't beleve in sueing folks] but texting or yacking on a phone puts them in my hit em where it hurts catagory.Sorry but thats inexchusable careless driving and getting the car fixed and them getting a ticket ain't enough gotta teach them a lesson, cause they damn sure would do it to you.

I truly don't beleve in sueing anybody [too much of that stupid crap goin on] for an accident [brakes failed,tripped and fell ect.] but you are on my s--t list if your texting/yacking,playing with your i pad,ect. The laws need to be adressed to that type of distraction so the fines and punishment can be made much higher.

Well the car was dropped off to Tim at Alternative Koncepts today. Hopefully there won't be too much underlying damage, and I can get it back in a decent amount of time. I'm optimistic about having it back for the Tampa Yankees show on 4/14, but not so much for the Marion County Sheriff's Show on 3/31. Kinda glad I didn't pre-reg for that one! Lol

On the update from Tim at Alternative Koncepts - He's got it broken down. The rear was pretty bad - hit so hard it bent the frame rail in the trunk. He's going to attempt to pull it at the insurance company's request, but he's pretty sure it won't be successful and will have to replace it anyway. He's hoping if he doesn't have to wait for parts he can have it back to me around 4/15.
