Ordered something I've wanted FOREVER!

LOL ~ I'm probably the only person on here that does really not understand PayPal or how it works but was lucky enough to find someone on EBAY that will just take your check card and by a fluke, I received an email from a seller that had a MOD for sale at a GREAT price; about half price from what I have been watching and pulled the trigger. IT also had FREE shipping and a 98.6 rating; guess that's good enough. Because I did NOT want to pay extra for expedited shipping.... too cold to work on anything anyhow... expected delivery date in end of Feb ~ Cool with me.

Anyhow, I don't understand how you get money on there to buy things?????

Yup, don't want to say.... just in case I did something wrong and did not order right...

Jim when you sign up for paypal, you link it to your bank account, when you buy on eBay it takes the price right out of the checking account you linked paypal to. Paypal is designed to protect your bank account and your purchase, if you just give out your card number you could be overcharged or scanned, paypal won't let that happen.

Guess I can spill the beans today. It says these are being shipped today. Tried to get the picture to link but it won't let me. I had to get a picture off another site. And I think I am now an EBAY member ~LOL~

LED tail lights for LUCKY and BLUE; both RED, I wanted BLACK ones for BLUE but they were twice as expensive so I just am going with RED on both cars.

Buy some smoked vinyl on eBay from metrodecals and cover em, it worked well for my stockers

LOL ~ one of the main reasons to get these is so I would NOT have to try to paint, sand & polish with niteshades as I'm NOT that good at that and surely did not want to mess up the lights. I've seen some of these that folks, like myself, have done and MAN, they looked awful!

Dang it, dissapointing to say the least; ONE set got damaged; corner on the bottom broken off and the other light had the screws sitting in the bottom of the shipping container... guess these hold the LED portion in place. Called the company and they said they'd email me some type of UPS return ticket and I gotta pack 'em back up and return them.... then it's the long wait for them to get 'em back BEFORE another set ships out.

This really IS the reason I HATE to order anything!!! Sigh.....

Well, at least the other set is OK. Hmmm, now on which car to install ~ maybe "BLUE" just 'cuz that's my every day driver..... might as well get some use outta the good ones.

Damn I would demand that they send out the new set as soon as UPS picks up the broken ones, you didnt buy a hassle, if they wont do that then just request a refund and buy another set from a different seller, it will get to you much quicker.

Hmmmm, good point guys! I'm gonna call 'em again this morning and see what they say. Sending all the way back to California and waiting for them to get them back BEFORE they send out the new ones is ridiculous. However, I seem to be at their mercy! So we'll see what they say.

I couldn't wait any longer so today I installed the "good" set on BLUE and took the other set to UPS to return to California.....sigh...

Just be careful, NC law requires taillights to show red at all times. Dont know how cops are in your neck of the woods, but it could give them a reason to stop ya. Most cops have better things to do than stop someone with tinted taillights, but some will stop someone for anything.

BTW, I think they look good red. IMO I have never really been a fan of tinted taillights, I think the LEDs look awesome.

When compaired to my stock tail lights; they did look a little tinted the way they came.

I called yesterday and talked to the seller; gave them the UPS tracking number and they told me that instead of waiting 'til they got these back they would order me a new set but probably would NOT ship 'til Friday. Hmmm, at least that is BETTER than all the waiting.

I have been tracking my return shipment for the broken tail lights back to the seller in California and see they were delivered today at 10:08 am. So I called them to ask when my NEW tail lights would be shipped to me and they gave me the UPS tracking number today and they shipped out Friday and UPS told them an expected delivery date of Wednesday, tomorrow ~ Woo HOO... Only it's supposed to RAIN all day tomorrow, but will put them on LUCKY first nice day I get.

Guess THIS SELLER is on the "UP and UP"!!!
