Actually Justin, he is running your old compressor. LOL. If you recall, I had a brand new Viair 350C compressor when I bought your horns, tank and compressor.

While I got ya, let me ask a question. Did you tank leak down if the truck sat for a day or two?

I wasn't sure I'd like the steps because I've never been a big fan of n-fabs but they do look great. And WAY better than the old ones that were frame mounted and appear to be too low because of the body lift. And yes, RamIt looks even higher.

Oh I remember you saying that before. My tank would leak maybe 5 pounds a day. I could leave it for a week or so before it was too weak to run the horns. I dont know of any air systems that dont leak but total leak down within a few days seems excessive. What kind of connectors did you use?

Yeah man, mine leaks completely down in a couple/few days. Matter of fact, Kevin and I checked it on Saturday. I got to the shop where he was at on Saturday about 9/915AM. I hit the lock button on my remote once, which uses about 8 psi. We checked it around lunchtime and it was down to about 110psi (from 150 less 8 for the blast). So that calculates to about 32 psi it lost just sitting for about 3 hours.

I used the fittings/connectors you gave me.

Yeah it never leaked down that bad when I had it. I would use some soapy water and check all your fittings and connections. I also learned that liquid pipe dope for natural gas works the best. Dont use teflon tape.

Love the new steps! And of course the horns. I still think you should have sold the old ones to me.. People never would have expected that out of a charger!

Yeah, I gotta check for leaks with soapy water or windex...just haven't gotten to it yet.
