Opinions needed!

O.K Guys Im almost ready to get a new exhaust system on my Maggie. I want her loud but legal. I am not to fond of the Flowmasters due to a bad experience with them before. I have been looking at the gibson super trucks exhaust and the magnaflow. I cant decide which one sounds better on a 4.7 thanks in advance.:hmm:

Personally, I've put two Cherry Bomb Extremes on 4.7s and I LOVE the sound, especially with a dual tail placed on the side, right beside the back wheel. Deep and throaty as hell. I have one on my Ram but dual pipes out the back and my neighbors go to bed at night praying I decide to take my Jeep if I'm heading out early in the morning, LOL...

Oh and I'm with you on the Rustmasters, biggest, most restrictive POS mufflers on the market...

I have been wanting to change the exhaust on RamIt since the day I got it, because I hate single exit exhaust, but I dont want to even chance losing the sound it has now just to make it look different...

I like magnaflow too. Could just get a cut out if you want it really loud sometimes and quiet the other.

magnaflow here too. sounds great and lasts forever. I had one on my stratus and even after 10 yrs is still looked and sounded like ned. I got the same on my ram

Thanks Guys! I like the magnaflows too. Daniel I looked at the at's and they do sound pretty awesome but I cant find any info on them working on my 4.7. no video clips either.:banghead:

You can't go wrong with a Magnaflow, the stainless steel will last forever. I went with the CB Extreme because I couldn't find anything else loud enough and with a deep enough tone for me...

Sweet, that's what I would do! I found some on eBay for around 100, I would get the 3030, or the 3030xl if you want it a bit quieter.

True, but also the closer the muffler is to the header/manifold the louder it is especially if you run pipes to the rear bumper.

I've got a magnaflow magnapak on my 4.7. Its 14" long and 4" round. Its got a nice rumble at idle and super loud at WOT. I was just given a new Aero Turbine Muffler but not sure what model it is. I think its the 3030. I may be putting it on as soon as i can get my welding machine back.
