So I have been itching to do something to the Avenger ever since my mom got it, and had been making little comments here and there to her to just bug her.

Well we were stopped at a gas station and a black truck with black rockstars pulled up next to us and she turned to me and said "Can I get those on my car?"

So I found out they make them in a passenger car version, and they look pretty sweet, I told her about it and she said, when she needs new tires she would do it.

So that time has come! (Oh and by the way, you cant just slap wheels on you gotta go all out!)

She is in the Philippines until Dec 6 so she wont see it until she gets back, she wanted to be surprised!

I dont like rockstars but that looks SWEET. I love the grill too. She should be delightfully surprised. Oh shit I didnt even see the stripe the first time I looked at it. Very nice D.

I really like the way the grill turned out, first time I have used plasti dip! Worked like a charm.

Justin I feel the same way about the Truck Rockstars, but these passenger versions look pretty good to me and I have only seen them in person once, so they are still fresh for now. The only thing I wish was different is the stars kinda stick out to a point, and I wish they were flat. But it doesnt bug me that much.

Also these things are gonna be a bitch to keep clean!

Wow! That looks awesome. New heads, pd grill, stripe...all ties together very nice.

And I have seen the same talk about trimming the caps as Nick, apparently it can be done.

Ahh I see what you were talking about Nick, These are different, the entire cap sits flush, but the star comes to a point in the middle, and that kinda bugs me, Ill get a good picture of it so you guys can see what I am talking about. Im not too sure what I can do about it.

I guess they do need a little trimming that way too, but look at all the dust just from one day of driving, sheesh

I got the HIDs today in the mail, they work fine but they sent me the wrong size ballast, I ordered the slims, so I am gonna get them to fix it. Here is a pic. Its kinda hard to see but when they are on they kinda look like Halos.

I also went to the dealer and had them turn off the feature where the headlights come on when you unlock the car. I didn't think that would be good for the longevity of the ballasts. I was almost certain they were gonna try to charge me but they didn't.

So I took off the center caps and saw the star is held on by screws, so I took those out and plasti dipped em. And did the chrome trim around the shifter while I was at it. I see why people like this stuff now.
