Since Tee got the DEMON two toned and decided she was going to drive it to work today instead of CHANCE, I told her, hey it's nice out; I'll put your Champion Plugs in today. I started on the passenger side and all went pretty well.... then onto the driver side and when I got the rest of the plugs out; there were only a total of 13... What's up with that??? I came in and got Tee and asked where the rest of the plugs were and she said they should all be there as the bag was tied and they just been sitting in the back of my car. I looked at her receipt; Yup, paid for 16. I call the manager of O'Reillys and told him about it, not knowing if he would make it right or not as we have had these in the bag since the last of August just waiting for the time and right weather to put 'em in.

He went and checked our reciept and then checked his inventory and came back and said: "Geesh, I'm sorry, my inventory shows 16 in stock but I found 19, the clerk must NOT have gave you them all." We both laughed, watchagonnado? So off I went to get the other three and finally finished right at dusk. Took it out for a spin; seems to run GREAT, however TEE don't let me drive this one much so I'll have her give it a try tomorrow.

The older plugs were pretty bad and gap was over .060" ~ WOW. Guess it should run better. Well 16 came out; guess 16 should go back ~LOL~

Just for FUN, a couple of pictures....

While researching the web, the majority of most folks was to run the stock champions that came with the hemi's for best results. And I've had NO problems in any of our cars. Staying with what works.

I just told Tee that SHE needs to take it for a spin as she drives it the most.

That may be true for the newer motors but the oldschool mopars i have had don't like them and a lot of folks i know won't use them in their older mopar motors. NGK plugs are great thats all i used in import and motorcycle engines, never tried them in american iron.

Something about the higher combustion ratio in the hemis makes the plugs run hotter and foul up from what I have read. The champions are copper core so they can take it better than the fancy stuff. I remember buying plugs and the lady at Napa asked me if I was sure I wanted the cheapos lol

Yeah Champions, Autolites and NGK are recommended for our second gen Magnum engines. Champion, AC Delco and NGK are now manufactured by the same people if I recall correctly.
