I've been up in NY for the last 6 days, and been so busy I haven't even had a chance to even THINK about looking at the site! Turns out you miss quite a bit when you're gone for that long! lol

Opinions from my SEmopar brothers needed here's the deal.
Someone i know aquired an item for nothing they told me about it and what they wanted to get for it,just happens that i know someone at work who may be interested in said item so i took the item to work and let my coworker look at it he asked how much and i said make an offer which he did and it was 3 times what the owner wanted my thought was to give the owner double his original amount and keep the remainder for myself am i wrong [my son thinks so] please give an honest opinion. I don't normally do deals this way but the owner had a very cheap price and i wanted to get him a little more and make a little for myself [finders fee] the deal ain't done yet so am i being a dick to the owner or the purchaser or should i give the owner all of what i sell it for.

give the owner what he asked for and keep the rest. but yes theres a but. How well do you know the owner? If hes a good friend tell him you sold it for more and maybe he will say to keep the extra. If you don't know him well just an acquaintance then the guilt factor shouldn't be there. I'd keep the rest.
Me as long as what I paid for it I got back I don't really care about the overhead. Hell he should have just done it himself.
I hope i helped LOL

Tell him the guy wants less than that and give yourself a little finders fee, but don't go crazy on it

That's what i thought the owner is my neighbor he don't work neither does his nephew who he will split this with, he wanted 30 $ so i told my co worker to make an offer first [so i could maybe get the guy more] he offered 100$ [item is 185$ new] so i said ok my thought was to give the owner 60$ and keep 40$ and tell him my coworker gave me 60$ what they don't know won't hurt them.

you can do that. give him some more than he asked and that will be perfect. he will be happy he got more than he asked and you'll come out as a hero for getting him more than he asked. He doesnt need to know how much more that you really got.
guilt has been nulled LOL

That's how i was lookin at it it's a 60/40 split 30 % more than he expected. I don't feel i'm screwin any one [maybe the purchaser but he named his price] so i'm not guilty.
