That's too bad, but with all the health issues he's had recently it's not really a shocker. Still too bad and very sad for his family and friends...only 56...that's young!

Sure is young...my dad was only 51 when he passed away.

Yep passed away on Oct 9th, 2004. My grandfater was around 60 when passed (I believe) and my grandmother wasn't much older than that (grandfather predeceased her)...the Wilkes bunch unfortunately has a history of passing on at an early age.

Thats pretty horrible. He has had a couple of hard years as of late though. My uncle works for Apple and he said the company will never be the same now that hes gone.

That is very sad and only 51!!! My father passed at 53 also, and being 65 now with heart disease and prostate cancer, sure makes you think. That's why I'm having as much FUN everyday as I can!!!

I've heard they have a few products coming out in the next few years. I'm thinking apple will be just fine.

Maybe now the ipad will get flash?

Im just kidding, I know who he is. Honestly not a Apple fan nor ever have been. But sad to hear someone that has played a big role in the advancement of technology pass on.
