Here's the official thread for the upcoming October show. The details are as follows.

Sunday October 23rd, from 3pm-8pm (Registration Closes 6:30pm, Trophies at 8)

St James Apostle Catholic Church, 8900 Monarch Dr, Port Richey. (Entrance off Little Rd, just north of Embassy Blvd)

The show is in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus Council 8155 Pumpkin Patch.

Trophies will be awarded of the following categories

Best In Show
Best Mopar
Best Ford
Best GM
Best Import
Best Truck
Best Motorcycle
Best Emergency Vehicle

We still need trophy sponsors and vendors for this show, and we need to promote the hell out of it.

We've handed out close to 700 flyers at different shows, and it's published in Mike Kelly's Cruise News and Tampa Bay Motoring.

If anyone can get to Quaker Steak and Lube in Pinellas Park on Thursdays or Checkers in Clearwater on Fridays to hand out flyers, please let me know and I'll get you some. Those nights are no good for me due to work and softball.

UPDATE - The price of the trophy sponsorship has dropped to $25. A-OK Trophies is cutting us a great deal, and they are going to sponsor and come up with a special trophy for best in show.

So here's the updated pricing now for vendors and trophies

Vendor only - $35
Trophy only - $25
Vendor AND Trophy - $55

Art jan is having a show on Sept. 25 at Napa taylor and sons in holiday 1842 us 19 from 9:30 till 3:00pm thats this sunday. I'm not going to it but figured an F.Y.I. would not hurt for flyer delivery.

Sorry gang, I've been up in NY for the last 6 days, so I put the show on the back burner for a few.

Everything is still on as planned. Trophies have been ordered, I should be picking them up early next week. I still need a few trophies sponsored, i'll get an updated list up later on tonight. I'm going to try and make the show this sat at quaker steak and lube to get out some more flyers - if anybody else is going, perhaps we can sit down and discuss some logistics then.

Ok - Here's what I've got for Trophies - If I can't get sponsors for the rest by Monday, the money will be taken from the show money, and they will be sponsored by the club and the KOC.

So far I'm just aware of Jay and I going to the show tomorrow. Trying to get Kevin to go too. And although I won't make your show, I'd be happy to discuss and provide any input I can.

We're drawing ever closer to the day of the event..

If possible, i'd like everyone to be there around 2pm. It may be a little hairy at first, because the church has a mass that gets out at 2, but we'll at least be able to go over what's going where, who wants to do what tasks, etc etc.

What i'm going to need from people that have them, please bring your FRS/GMRS radios.. I've got 2, I know Kevin's got 2, Jay's got 2 or 3. If you have them, please bring them.

Adam, you're still going to be able to bring the 2 tables, right? And Jay, you're bringing the tent? Also Jay, would you be able to get one of those bank bags like you had at Uzzi's show?

If everyone else brings their show chairs, we should be good. I've got posterboards to make signs, tickets for the 50/50, duct tape, zip ties, rope, etc.

Can anyone think of anything else we may need?

Yes, I will be picking up the tables on Saturday from the mom in laws and bringing them...again, I will not be showing, but working the show, recruiting, etc for the club...

Since you are bringing zip ties and rope, I will bring some cool whip if someone can bring a live chicken.....

We have been advertising this show like crazy for you guys - we are looking forward to it!! We have some product orders placed and ready for pick up and our new wonder wafer order is in!! Black Royale and Island Breeze. I am sure these 2 scents will be a hit!

Ok gang, less than 24 hrs to go. I've come up with an updated layout for everyone. I'm going to print as many as I can but I'm running low on color ink. If a few of you can print up your own copy, it'd be appreciated.

I had fun hanging and helping out...good job Art, the church obviously enjoyed our effort as we got they want us back next year. So, with that being said, we have a year to kick this thing up a notch!!!

Thanks everyone for all the help yesterday!! No way I could of pulled that off without everyone's help. It was a good time, and even though I would have liked a little better of a turnout, but considering there were at least 3 other shows yesterday within a 30 mile radius, we did pretty good. We wound up raising a total of $155 for the charities. It wasn't a whole hell of a lot, but it's better than nothing. Thanks again to everyone that pitched in!

Sorry i missed out i was at one of the other shows till 5pm after 2 days i'm burnt out.What was the turnout count and photos hopfully ya'll had a good time.

We had 20 registered cars...then a handful or so that chose NOT to register...best of show went to a guy with a Classic 1954 (I believe it was a 54) Dodge truck...that was fully restored...he also signed up here with SEM today...
