Wiregrass thread for the 10/08/2011 show...

This SHOULD be the last Wiregrass show of the year, according to the Premium Productions event calendar on their site....who all is going?

I wanna try something different this time, with how we all show...I think some of us have actually classified our cars/trucks incorrectly, according to Premium Productions standards...and here is what I mean (this copied RIGHT from their site!)

STOCK and MODIFIED:
STOCK: bone stock, as the vehicle came out of the factory.
SEMI MODIFIED: one to six MINOR changes. NO paint or interior changes.
MODIFIED… NO body mods. Wheels, blowers, etc make you modified.
CUSTOM…. body mods such as shaved door handles, Frenched tail light etc. put you in custom.

So, with the above being said, I dont think ANY of us here at SEM fit the STOCK category, we are all SEMI MODIFIED at the very least...So those who come out, when they ask you what class, everyone pick from SEMI MODIFIED, MODIFIED or CUSTOM...cause according to that, even Ruby is not considered stock, as she has an aftermarket exhaust and open element air cleaner....

The registration runs from 3PM-6PM....lets meet in the parking garage at like 3PM-3:30PM...that was about the time we all finally rolled in last time anyway and it was good timing IMO....

In regard to the classifications in the OP, at the last show when the guy asked me about the class of my truck he only mentioned stock and modified. I asked him to define modified and he said "6 mods or more", which is why I told him stock. It seems maybe there people didn't understand the classifications either.

Visible, major modifications I believe, they told me if they can tell its a mod then so be it, I got more than 6 and I ran stock...

Hey everyone, I haven't been on here in a while but DSM is meeting at our regular spot on Hwy 56 (haverty's parking lot) at 2-2:15pm and rolling out at 2:30pm since the show will most likely be packed. It would be great if we could park together, the last show we were unable to do so. Taking a whole block like we did one time would be awesome. Lets see if we can make it happen. So far we are up to 10 cars.

I hope a Mopar club wins "most participation". The last show was the first time a non-Mopar club won. See you there.

Looks like I am gonna hafta sit this one out...they added a new age bracket to ZPAL and now we have a senior team. Instead of playing them at the end of the day, they have scheduled all their games in the 12PM start time, which is where our last game of the day would normally start, so now they have pushed one of my kids games back to a 2PM start time. That puts me leaving the games at 3:30 at the earliest and there is NO WAY I can make it out there in time.
