Danny's 2003, is as fresh a ride as as one just rolling of the line. He doesn't mention it but the front drive /suspension has all been recently replace with OEM pieces. Not counting being re-geared to 4:56. This truck is maintained at an amazing level.

First off, I would like to say good luck to Johnny and Danny, both of you and your trucks are very well deserving of an OTM title.

To answer Paul's question, I am actually doing laundry and packing for a weekend trip. My son and I are leaving right after work/school tomorrow, going to stay with family on the Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers. We will be floating the Ichetucknee and boating/swimming the Santa Fe.

New truck pics are gonna be tough. I was planning to drive my company car (free gas) but may drive the truck and take the camera...lots of nice scenery up there. If I do, I will take my laptop with me so I can post from there. I will do what I can for this competition, and I like driving the truck way better anyway. :D

Working on these Trucks is a Joy. I do all my own stuff except for exhaust and Tire/alignement work. When it came to my Gears though I also farmed that out to a Pro.

Danny, I see we used the same cam holding tool. lol What aftermarket crank pulley is that? Is it an under drive unit? It looks good.

Yep Vise Grips...LOL...That is the old Cam Bolt so it doesn't Matter...gives you a good balanced Grip so when the Cam goes in your not hitting the bearings too hard when sliding the cam into position.

The Pulley is a Pro-Sport SFI approved (Made in Australia) Damper and Underdrive 20%. I thought since I was reving at 6400 it was a good idea. I put it on when I installed Cam #1 (6.1).

Danny, I forgot about the extra 4wd lever. That is why you wanted to change out the bottom of the dash. Now it makes sense to me. That is going to be cool. I like rachet shifters. Semmed like the gate is not as smooth without practise.

Danny, did you get any work completed on the truck this last weekend? I had a house full of family fleeing from Hurricane Irene. They just headed out to go back home. House seems unnaturally quiet all of a sudden.

Greg, Nope wasted time doing video's of the truck, bad sound, etc, not worthy of publication at this time. Truck performed well even in 34 degrees celcious heat shifting at 6400. Given the repeated hard runs I have in the end no fluid/seal leaks and got to put a smile on a Certain Mopar LX Freaks Face when I lit-er-up with the Ram. I will send you an Email re: PSC1 and realize you only have 6 days to go.

Back on Topic, Well this TOTM thing doesn't seem to have had very much interest. I would like to thank Johnny and Lee for running in this contest and it's looking to me like a Black Smoker will finally Win (well done Lee)!
