What clutch do ya recommend I install in my Dakota 1997 318ci 5 speed? It is stock and will remain fairly stock as it is my daily driver/beater

I have heard spec is a good clutch but they have many different stages?

Let me know your thoughts or experiences

If keeping it mostly stock....go OEM? What you can get at your local auto parts.

I haven't run a clutch in years. I would price the clutch at Hensons (Art) and Napa. They may have a couple performance levels available. Goos luck..

Henson is a online parts supplier. Art is the parts Manager. His service is outstanding. If I need a dealer part this is where I get mine. I can order from my local dealership and Art at the same time and get it from Art cheaper and just as fast.

If you can, find cars with the stages you're interested in because some stages are easier to use than others. For example I've been in a car with a stage 2 and one with a stage 3, the stage 3 was pretty easy to use whereas the stage 2 felt like it would be a workout while driving
