Okay fellas it is almost that time! Lets get a signup going for Fantasy Football. I have done one of these every year for the last few years and it has been awesome. I like using yahoo to do it since it is free and pretty easy. So If the powers at be will let me start one up, we can get it going! I like 8-10 player leagues.

Okay Gotcha Both and got ross on standby, but from my experience we should easily have enough people for an 8 person league 10 if we need it.

And if you can't make the draft, you can set up a list and they will automatically draft players for you based on what you set up

Okay for those who are new. For Fantasy football all you have to do is get good players for your team.

So Your Team will have these positions

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
WR
TE
DEF
K

and you will have several players on your bench

So each weekend you get points depending on how well your players played in their games. You can see the fantasy page for all the details. So in our head to head leagues the idea is to get more points than the person you are going up against. The teams with the best records at the end of the season will go to the playoffs.

Now keep in mind when picking your players, each team has 2 bye weeks, so you will need your bench to fill in gaps during the season.

And it is important to consider what team your players are going up against, your badass RB wont have a good day versus a run stopping defense, so this is where the strategy comes in.

Its not rocket science but there is some strategy to it. I have done two leagues so far and have done pretty well, a 2nd and 3rd finish.

Daniel, might be a good idea for you to write up and post a brief summary of how this draft works.

You just take turns picking players, its usually good to take a rb in the 1st and a QB in the 2nd, there are practice drafts you can do on Yahoo if You want to get a look

How is draft order decided? What about people in league not online during draft, how are their players picked?

Im not sure how the order is set, but the computer will autopick if you are not there. Ill look into the order.
