I like everything except the Euro tails...but that's because I hate them on anything...LOL...I have a buddy in North Carolina who candies tail light lenses really well. I am thinking about picking up a spare set to ship to him to have candied.

candies? i wasnt goin to replace mine till i put a hole in my reverse lense, and now it looks dumb, so i decided to replace all the lenses all the way around. thats the only set i found in chrome that actually apealed to me, i was goin with black until i found thouse headlights that i like.

im still debateing on a cam, i just dont know what to look for.

SmokedRam

sweet thanks. and they look good. though i like it black or 100% clear(no sexual intentions lol.)

SmokedRam
10-24-2010, 12:05 AM
I think clears were more the way to go before manufacturers started installing clears from the factory...it's just not unique anymore...

10-24-2010, 12:13 AM
ya, though dodge never did, and i dont really see many rams around here that have thopse tail light

SmokedRam
10-24-2010, 12:19 AM
I have never really paid attention...that is up until last week when I got my ram...LOL...man, if you have a set of 100% clear stock first gen S10 tails, you could EASILY fetch $90 a set for them.

004x41500
10-24-2010, 12:34 AM

ya i seen those, but what i really like about the ones im want is the 3 LED lights in the center divider. i know noone else will have those either. and i just got quoted $1187.76 for the items in the picture.

though im not sure whether i should get a thick cut ring gear or a new carrier for the front

I seen those with the 3 LED lights in the center...they look alright...those HID kits are pretty cool looking too.

004x41500
10-24-2010, 02:18 AM
ya, i already have a 6000K Bi-Xenon (both high and low beam HID) hid kit.

AParrette
10-24-2010, 04:21 PM
5000k bi-xenon here
except the magnet went and it sticks in the high possition all the time. i may switch it out for 8000k single

but i strive for the most hid's on any vehicle. right now 3 sets
if i had the money i'd get 2 more for the offroad lights

3 sets? heads, fogs and what else?

you can get the conversion kits for the lights. go to hidextra.com i had problems with bulbs goin out on me, and they sent me an entirely new kit.

AParrette

i have hid reverse

004x41500
10-24-2010, 10:29 PM
damn, how do those work out? i was thinkin about doin it, but i dind tknow if it was possible

AParrette
10-25-2010, 12:10 PM
they are bright as fuck
i need the time delay relay tho and to rewire the lights

AParrette
10-25-2010, 12:38 PM
oh and it's an h13 kit. its the smallest bulb available in hid. it fits in alot of shit. ima use it on the next car for some fun stuff

004x41500
10-25-2010, 12:42 PM
time delay relay? whats that? did you have to modify the housing at all?

AParrette
10-25-2010, 12:45 PM
i modified the bulb to fit the housing. which iirc was to remove a littlenotch to fit my tails
and a time delayed relay waits 3-5 seconds after turning on before switching the lights on. because right now every time my truck shimmys past reverse the lights flash

004x41500
10-25-2010, 12:54 PM
lol, they all do that. so they come on fairly quickly then?

AParrette
10-25-2010, 12:59 PM
well regular relays turn on instantly

time delay makes you wait

004x41500
10-25-2010, 01:12 PM
oh. i see. itd be nice to have the hid reverse, but i dont think i can put them in mine. i have the separate bulbs, and not the board like you have.

AParrette
10-25-2010, 01:19 PM
i switched to after-market led tails so no board
and it wouldn't work with that board anyways. you'd have to run a 12v+ wire from the battery to the rear of the truck for the relay.

004x41500
10-25-2010, 01:25 PM
ah. i see. idk maybe ill get a set, then, well nevermind youll still have me 1 up-ed. lol. unless i can find an H1 hid conversion... hmm... then ill have 4 sets. haha.

AParrette
10-25-2010, 01:26 PM
for the offroads?

004x41500
10-25-2010, 01:32 PM
bam, i found a kit http://www.hidextra.com/h1-6000k-hid-kit-automobile-xenon-hid-conversion-kit-377?osCsid=3e8d4c1b2badd977ee5511050dc58a00

ya, for the front driving, and rear reverse... of course theyre on a separate switch... haha no more high beams behind me. =D

http://www.vvme.com/single-beam-hid-conversion-kit-h1-hid-conversion-kit-c-44_45_14.html

i'm gonna make mine avalible on a switch and reverse next time

and all my kits are vvme now

004x41500
10-25-2010, 01:43 PM
sweet. ill buy from them next. like 20$ cheaper. i dont know if i need the relay kit though... any thoughts? i got power coming to the switch, and then a wire going to the lights in the rear, the fronts have a relay already, but would i still need one for the hids?

AParrette
10-25-2010, 02:35 PM
i prefer relays just in case
my fogs are the only ones not on the harness

004x41500
10-25-2010, 02:47 PM
ya, though my reverse and driving are on their own fused circuits. i should be alright.
