Just a heads up about a car show. My mother's church has a food ministry and their shelves are going bare. All types of people are needing help these days. Here is the info on it. I hope as many of our SEM brothers & sisters can make this event.

Please bring a food or cash donation

Also available for a food or cash donation will be a food bar and bake sale.

Please let me know who might be able to show a car and help our neighbors out.

I hope it doesn't effect this event that the Charlotte Autofair is the same weekend. I still am planning planning on being there. and I'm going to tell the people here that was there last year.

Update !!!! Just wanted to let everyone know how important this show is. Most churches get their food from Second Harvest Food Bank. Please watch video and read the article.

Just letting everyone know. The weather for this area is calling for a 20-30% chance of rain on Saturday. That means around here it should be a good day. If it is down pouring on Saturday A.M. I will set another date. Irene seems to be turning out to sea which is a good thing.

So far Tee and I still plan on making this trip and we have set up a convoy to leave Salisbury at 9am that morning. Also we may get lucky as John (DirtyPana), is trying to be able to come over from the coast.

Depending on weather, of course, but we DO plan on bring TWO cars unless something changes. Tee's kinda disappointed as she cannot bring ANGEL do to the pinky shifter thing breaking and NOT sure IF we can get it repaired in time for her to bring THAT car!

Some of US are meeting up this morning and heading up together. We are looking forward to this and getting to see my brother Storm Rider again! And helping the church and the food drive ~ How awesome is that!
