What's Going On? Header

What's up with the 'What's Going On?' header towards the bottom of the page, on the right? It looks torn/ripped.

Its just part of the design in the header....all of them are that way

its just an effect...to make it not look so 2D

It's only on certain monitors on my desktop its fine I have a wide screen, and on my touch, netbook and phone its broke up like you speak of.....
