i have been thinking about something to do for fun so once im able to i will be attending a tech school for auto body and PAINT!!!! i have experience with auto paint but the more i can learn the better ill be. im also learning some welding from my neighbor who has done it his whole adult life. shaved door handles anyone? once im certified you know all my SEM brothers will get the hook up where available. i have really big plans for my truck in the future, a 5 phase project that will make this truck truly one of a kind. i plan on doing side jobs to help fund the project but i dont think i could make it a living, it would loose its fun factor... stay tuned.

phases

1. operation facelift
2. operation beauty is on the inside
3. operation boom boom pow
4. operation walk the talk
5. operation air control

you guys wont believe this is the same truck once its done.

this is tentatively set to begin next spring

I always like a plan. Your plan makes sense as DIY always seem to be the best. Sounds like this is going to have some air involved...... I like it already.

Door handles are on my list.

Nick You buy the paint and ill do it.

Greg mine too. I found what looks like a hood similar to mine for 200 plus another style cowl hood for 100. Search the tulsa cl for dodge ram. I dont know what shipping would be but I may bevable to get a discount on some freight for you. My brothers company uses conway shipping all the time

Thanks for the lead, but I hate shipping.. I'll continue to search locally.

Sounds great, more education is never a waste of time, go for it the side jobs are an endless source of income. At my age school is not an option [lack of cash] so the school of hardknocks works for me, i wish i had gone when i had the oppertunity but i was stupid and did other things [dope/drinkin/marrage first time] none of which helped me today.Lookin forward to the new and improved ram in the future.
