I just got some rib ends at the store. Is it safe to give my dogs if I boil them first?

i wouldnt give my dogs raw bones or real bones at all if they physically eat the whole thing

if they just chew on them than thats fine, but mine try and eat them and thats bad

I got them already cooked, just the leftovers but it was only 50 cents a pound, cant beat that. I asked a lady at petco about it and she said it would be fine to give to them

Cooked bones are actually more dangerous then raw bones...cooked bones can splinter...Daisy, our Amstaff is a power chewer, so we give her femur bones, knee bones stuff like that etc....

I wouldnt....just give it to the dog and supervise while she is nawing on it...

If you can get a large femur bone Colton, grab a jar of peanut butter and pack the middle of it with the peanut butter...your dog will love you forever and it's healthy for them.

We use to buy the round bones with the hole in the middle from the meat section for our dogs...gave them to them right outta the package. They will gnaw all the meat from around the bone and inside the hole in the middle. Just keep your eye on them and take it away when all the meat is gone from in and out. We only gave them one once or twice a month.

And yes, dogs love peanut butter. If you ever have to give them a pill, put the pill in the peanut butter lid and get a dab of peanut butter on a butter knife. Then work the pill in the peanut butter using the knife...they will eat it up.

Yep...Colton...you can pick one up at most pet stores...feed stores too....and dont forget to call your local butcher shop...sometimes they will let you have femur and soup bones and odd bones like that.

I'm tellin ya guys...get your dogs a Bully Stick...best chew ever...and you wont have to worry about intestinal impactions and stuff....and they last a long time.
