yep, its that time i start ordering parts for the truck.

I actually just placed my order for G2 4.56s and a detroit truetrac lsd

I ordered from 4wheel parts total was about $1200 shipped, which is better than what randys r&p was.

was going to place an order for the APS kit but the paypal link just takes me to my account, so ill have to wait til later today to order that.

as far as ball joints go, i think im gonna go with XRFs as ive read endless threads about the quality of the parts, and the customer service is excelent, not to mention the 1,000,000 mile warranty on their parts.

**mods/admin please feel free to remove the following section if you feel that it breaks any rule(s)**

here is one guys thread started about XRFs customer service... it was last year, so its not too outdated.

http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-non-powertrain/287569-just-word-xrf-chassis-warranty-customer-service.html

heres a thread talking about moog, dana/spicer, and the XRFs

http://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen-ram/264597-xrf-ball-joints-whats-your-opinion.html

after reading the entire thread, and seeing that thetireclub.com has the XRFs and are relatively inexpensive compared to the moogs, and seeing that one guy got all 4(XRFs) shipped for around $137.

Im still out for more info of the XRFs but you really cant compete with a 1,000,000 mile warranty. hell even 100k miles would suffice for the price.

and not to mention my plans of putting 35s under the truck reinforces my choice to go with the XRFs.

Axle seals are not included in the master Install kit, NAPA has double lip seals for a couple bucks each.

City I would not remove those links as they are links to threads to learn, your not promoting the sites or are you trying to lure members there

Nope. Sure not. Just giving references for others to look into those balljoints.

I have a good feeling corys loyalty is with us here at SEM....I think the links were more of a reference...

And hey cory, ill take a set of 456s for my truck... ;)

I'm glad ur keeping ur truck. Better to put money into a truck you know rather than buy a different truck and put money into it not knowing the past....
