I'm gonna have to say black...just because you have built your truck around a black theme.

do i really need to use a high temp paint, cause then my options would be way more if not....

If you plan in it lasting, yes...either that or powdercoat...plus, the high temp paint will work two fold...by both holding it's look in the heat AND insulating the intake helping to keep the air drawn into it cooler...scuff that thing up, clean it well and hit it with some Duplicolor self etching primer, sand again and paint away...

its been sandblasted and scotch brited...
I say get some cool cheap vinyl that says "Blackened" and put it along the top, then paint it black, and then peel the vinyl off, so the Blackend will stand out...
You could paint the entire thing one color, then lay the vinyl, then paint it another color, so the "Blackened" will be the original color you painted it first...
If that makes any sense

there ya go then, just dont forget the self etching primer, it will promote adhesion...

that sounds awesome...lay two coats of flat black, then mask off the "blackened" and hit it with a couple coats of gloss black...peel the mask and watch the magic happen!!

Jay - that is off the hook. I like the decal ides a lot. If you are adding a little red, then paint it red and then add your Blackened decal. The black & blue will show off great.
