This probably won't suit everyone, but I like it. I wasn't sure until I goy them mounted and once I saw them on her I knew I was going in the right direction. enjoy.

Yep, it accents the old school theme. The pictures really don't do it justice. The ballon tires bring out it being lowered better than the 20's.

not bad. handling is going to suck with the higher profile tires.

Wheels look cool but may I ask why did you switch? I liked the other rims too.

Matt, I had a couple of reasons, first I was not happy with the wieght penalty of the 20"s. Second, I felt the wheels didn't compliment the look I am trying to achieve. The suspension on Red is tight, believe me it will not suck. I appreciate your interest.
Thanks,

Those rims look sweet on Redtruck. A ton better than the chopped versions. Definitely has that lowered sports car/truck appearance.

ahh ok thanks for the explanation. Seems dodge always builds a light set of wheels in each line of vehicle. the first generation of the stratus theres was one set of aluminum wheels that were the lightest of all the rest.

Man when I took off the 17s with the NTGs I swear those were much heavier than the 20s with the goodyears, but then I went and put the 10 ply NTGs right onto the 20s so Im sure they are heavier now.

It looks good Greg, much better than I thought it would. I bet youll have some more fun burning the rubber off the tires now!

I took her out to run around a country block (10 mi) and tried to launch her a couple of times. She really lights them up. I'll check the tire pressure and lower it tomorrow. The 20"s are 10 inch wide and the 17's are 9". So it should be close for traction, bothe tires are the same height (30")

you need a boss ass cowl hood to finish the look off

This hood would be perfect on there. Too bad were so far apart, I'd be willing to part with it. I like the look but it really doesn't fit my ram. Just like the vararam the deal was just too good to pass up

To develop this a little more I'm thinking of going ahead with the notch and dropping just a touch more. The rear is now sitting on the Aeon springs. Rides good, but I'm at the limit for this configuration.

Greg, I have a set of Bogart drag wheel's i'd be willing to part with for the track day's...

Skinnnies' up front and 15x12's on the rear. The rear's already have a set of 30x12x15's that are tubed and drilled. Never seen the ground before. Lemme' know if your interested bub.

I appreciate the offer, but 3g can't mount 15 inch rims. 16" rims can be mounted on the rear with a lot of grinding on the brake caliper. The 17's I just put on was a very tight fit with the drop spindles in the front and I had to grind the lower BJ bolt flush with the nut and I have only 1/8" clearance. It isn't always easy.
Thanks,
