So what habits do you guys and girls have that you can't break? Quitting smoking was pretty easy for me but I only smoked for 3years. I quitbitting my nails but only because I got my 2 front teeth knocked out. I only thought of this because I have to cut my nails now

I have been dipping snuff for a long time...quit for a couple months ago, but couldnt stop eating...then some financial probs got the best of me and I started back again.
As of Sunday I have not had a single soda...I have only been drinking water and tea. So far so good on that.

Habits are something we all deal with. Some good & some bad. They are what make us who we are. Glad to see you quit smoking Michael, that seems to be the one that is the hardest to beat. Adam just remember it is what it is. Stress will make the strongest of us, go back to something we quit. Good Luck if you try to quit snuff again.

I chewed for about 14 years, stopping was the hardest thing I have had to overcome. I had strong urges for 5 years, finally I'm done with it. I have to watch how I drink, but it is easier as I get older. My worst habit is fast trucks and motorcycles, they make me stupid. There are a few others but this is a public forum.... lol

Dipping and chewing for years. Quit dipping and starting chewing again. Quit chewing and starting dipping again. When I try to quit, I relate dipping too easy to things I'm doing (driving is the worst), and I also relate it to relieving stress. It's all in my head, I know, but WAY hard to quit.

Quitting abusing drugs [a very long time ago] was not that hard the doctor said i was luckey he was able to bring me back [flat lined 2nd time] after my second o.d.[heroin] never touched drugs again.Continued drinking was a borderline alaholic my kids dumped all the booze out, my wife and i haven't drank in 8 or 9 years still have the urge to drink but don't.Smoking is my only bad habit i have left and have no plans on quitting been smoking for 40 years the damage is done.My wife say's cars are my drug now which she can put up with at least she knows where i'm at.

Alex - you need to slow down some. You are going to run yourself into a pine box.

Those scripts are bad news alex. I've lost alot of people to pain killer addiction. I know you need them for some things, just dont let them take over your life, and NEVER drive when youve had to many. My bad habit is eating. I eat and eat and eat like theres no tomorrow. I still only weigh 170 though, go figure.

I haven't really had any to overcome yet, thankfully. Try to stay away from the drugs and alcohol although I'll have a little sip of some alcohol here and there just to see what it tastes like, but I don't drive for like 4 hours after that sip

Scripts are one of the worse things to get hooked on. There's a guy I work with that just got back on them a couple days ago. I took him out back at work this afternoon and had a "talk" with him.
I'm so afraid of getting addicted to them, I've got a drawer full of prescriptions I never had filled from doctors over the years.
My bad habit is cigarettes. Been smoking for about 4 years now and been trying to quit for about 3 and a half...

I think growing up watching my dad and living the life my mom was able to afford has made me who I am. I did a lot of crazy stuff when I was younger but when chrissy told me she was pregnant it all stopped on that day. I promised myself I would never let my kids live the lifei had too and that is my motivation for everything I do in life.
Garner you seem to have a pretty good head on you but it can be easy to get caught up with peer pressure or girls,. Just know your limits and be careful what you take
