08 20" SLT clads w/285/50-20 tires

hey Guys and Girls, I'm going to change my wheels and the current setup is for sale. They will actually be available this weekend. The tires are Cooper H/T Discovery 285/50-20" (30.5" tall). I'll meet up within a reasonable distance within Virginia/NC. I'll split the tires and Rims if someone wants to go that route. But would like to sell as a package. I have $1250 in them but they are used in excellent condition. No rash, These were new last year. I'll say maybe 8k on them.
Package deal $1000 +shipping
Rims $700 +shipping
Tires $400 +shipping

These are as nice as it gets.

I'll post them here first among friends and then move them to DT and ebay.

Kevin, wrong rim for a lifted truck, they do good with a 4.5 back spacing and like you said really wide. OEM rims are excellent for lowered truck as they need to tuck under the fenders. Most aftermarket rims don't do that well. The bagged rides actually go as far as to narrow the rear axle and modify the control arms to to get them to fit under the fenders.. Great fun..

Actually, before i decided to go with the 17's i was going to have the rear rims widen to 11". Pricing i got was $150 per rim plus shipping one way. The problem as i said is the back spacing. Without spacers they just don't stick out enough for a lifted truck.

Jay, I hear you, if I was flush I wouldn't need to sell them.

This is a good deal locally, but when shipping costs are added in it loses some of it's appeal. Also, they are not as rare as they were last year and smoking deals do pop up once in awhile, I would say watch your classified locally. Good luck..

They went to a guy named Rick in Ronoake, VA. He has a super nice SLT 4x4 custom painted a Ford gray/black, the color looks good on the Dodge. It has work boxes and is used to tow a work trailer. He has pettles on it now, but wanted to change up to the newer wheels.
