So with the Tax Return It was time to frankenstein One computer into Two Badass Computers, so here are the specs on the one I am using now.

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge Quad Core running at 4.4Ghz (for now, once the thermal compound cures a little we will try getting it past 5ghz!)
GSKill Ripjaw 8gb DDR3 1600mhz Ram
Gigabyte USB 3.0 Sata 6 Motherboard
BFG GTX 260 OC Edition Video Card.

This thing is straight nuts!

I had a little issue with the reset and power button making the computer go into a boot-loop but a Bios update fixed all that (Fingers Crossed)

So the other computer will be finished tomorrow. Its specs are

AMD Phenom II 965 Quad Core running at 3.6Ghz
8gb DDR3 1600 (not sure what brand)
Asus Motherboard
Video Card to be decided tomorrow (probably an AMD brand 67-something)

Both of these machines are running Corsair H50 Cpu Coolers, Water cooling baby!
So once the second one is completed it will be a mini-Lan party going on in here. Its gonna be fun once Diablo 3 comes out!

Oh yeah, they are definitely a lot more. My MacBook Pro was a couple grand...but if I want to sell it in 5 years I can still get a grand for it. Another thing I like is sharing software, no registration keys, etc. And to keep the OS current, I won't ever have to spend a dime. It's a choice like anything else you buy...to each his own...yada, yada, yada.
