I know the 03 has the pwr steering sensor, but do the newer models also have this sensor? Curious more than anything as the the newer model have other means to adjust their idle and I am only manipulating this sensor to bump the idle up. Anyone know?

Daniel, on the 03 it is located on the driver side front of the engine behind the power steering pump.

What muffler are you going with?

Adam, are you mixing up your threads?

But I installed this last year. My exhaust is finished.

OK...now to post with something on topic...I have never even heard of a Power Steering Pressure Sensor...what is the point of monitoring it?

So when you turn the wheel full lock the rpms dont dip

And Greg, Im not sure what it looks like but I cant see any wires going to the pump or the column.

Adam, the pwr steering pressure sensor raises the idle on a 03 when it senses high pressure during parking manuvers so the engine doesn't dip or stall. I decided to use it to raise the idle as there are few other options on a 03. I have the switch open below 1000 rpm which gives me a high idle and a Granatelli dual window switch installed to close the pwr steering switch above 1000 rpm to maintain normal drivability.

Daniel, Exactly....
This might be a 03 only thing....
