Fishing the river....

Well the family and I fished the Hillsborough River (301 section)...the water was pretty low...wife and oldest daughter caught some bluegill...other than a 3.5 foot cotton mouth hanging out with us all day at the bank, we caught nothing else. Which sucks, cause I really wanted to tear into some catfish lips.

In two weeks, which is my wifes single weekend at work, we are heading out to the Withlacoochee River. My wifes uncle caught some catfish out there last week.

Anybody know of how the fishing is out at Lake Thononasassa?

I believe you are gonna find all water levels low. And I haven't fished Lake Thonotosassa in a hundred years. Back in the day, when I wanted catfish I went night fishing at the Reservoir, AKA Edward Medard park on Turkey Creek Rd south of Plant City.
