So I was driving the Avenger about an hour ago down these country ass roads and a raccoon walked across the road, and right before I drove by it, it decided to go back across and I hit it with the right front side of the bumper. It dented in the bottom part of the bumper but I was able to pop that back out, it is plastic after all. It also pulled the bumper partially off on the right side, so now I have to take the bumper cover off and reset it back on. The raccoon was probably 20lbs +, small dog size.

FUCK YOU RACCOON :flipthebird::flipthebird::flipthebird::flipthebir d:

It is the time of year were all the varmits are out with ther brew touring the back roads. It amazes me how dedetermined they are at running in front of vehicles. I have all but given up at driving at night.

Amazing the amount of damage that can be done by an animal to a car or truck that out weigh them by 200 -300%. Sorry about your luck hitting the raccoon, but at least your insurance will pay for the repairs.

IMO always better to hit it than to try to avoid it. :) I had a buddy total his restored fox body mustang because of a raccoon. Swived to avoid it and sent him spinning into a guard rail totaling that pretty car.
