SEM presents "Save The TaTa's Cruise In"

Its official. After speaking with the owner of Oldsmar's Cop Shop, we are going to host a Donation Drive for The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and for SEM to help support the club. The folks at the Cop Shop are also stepping up and going to offer discounts with donations. I created a flyer for the event so we can pass them out around town and hopefully pull in more people...

The information is on the flyer. Please feel free to print some out and pass around your local areas.

I am hoping we make a huge showing...both Club wise and Publicly.

We will need one dedicated person to man a table under the tent for the items to be raffled off, and the collection bucket.

Met a few of you at Wiregrass a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Undercover for the invite to the site. I'm the show director of the Rotary Charity show in Palm Harbor this Saturday (4/16). It's only about 5 minutes up the road from the Cop Shop - and yes, they are great! I know a few of you are planning on attending the Rotary show, thank you. I'm not sure when they are picking him up but it will be sometime in the weekend prior to (weekend of this show). If they pick him up Saturday in time, I will come. I should know more next week.

Well, I talked to my aunt today and they are not picking up my son for spring break until Sunday around noon. So, it looks like this will be another show I will miss. Unless I come for a couple hours and bring him. He does love cars and trucks (especially big trucks), but he is only 4-1/2 and a kid that young may be out of place, so-to-speak.

hope you have a great tun out but I wont be there Susan G Komen Foundation is a rip off they spend more money on paying there employees than to breast cancer research and they ladies and their families who need the money doesn't sound like a Charity to me not trying to put a bad spin on what you all are doing just wanted you to know ,there are real charity's out there that do support breast cancer research and help the families....do your own research you willl find out what I've said is true....sadly enough

Bad news - the coworker i had a swap scheduled for had some medical issues, and the swap was canceled by my supervisor.

Good news - I was able to take 4 hours of vacation leave, so I'll still be able to make it.
