July Houston Coffee and Cars GTG!

A few members and myself have been arranging a gtg in Houston July 2nd at the large Coffee and Cars meet that takes place the first sat of every month here. I go to the meet here every month and it is awesome! There are over 500 cars at the meets ranging from exotics to trucks. The plan is for all the people coming in from out of town to either come to my house or a car wash and get our cars/trucks all cleaned up on Friday July 1st and then go to the drag strip later that night. Then we will get up early Sat and drive to the meet and then we will all go somewhere for lunch on Sat. So far Silverbullet, Turpiano, Oklahemi, Garner and myself are all going. Just though I would see if we can get any more people to come! Shadow, where do you live again? I was gonna get a hotel somewhat near your house, so the morning of the show, we can maybe roll to your house or a car wash place nearby, to put the finishing touches on the trucks before we head to the show.

Houston, TX 77044 I live north of Houston about 30 miles in Tomball. Whoever is coming and is going to stay in a hotel should look at hotels in the Woodlands Tx. Very nice place and its about 10 min from my house. Yall can either come to my house on Friday and wash your cars/trucks or we can meet at a car wash. Nick is going to be coming to my house cause I have to buff his car so yall are welcome to come. The show is about 15 minutes from my house so if yall stay in the Woodlands then you can just drive to my house early that morning and then we can head to the show all together. The hotels in the woodlands may be a little more than regular but its a really nice place to stay. I can recommend some hotels if yall want and their address so just let me know.

Yes sir. You will need to get to my house by about lunch on Friday cause it will take a couple hours to buff and clean. And we have to leave about 5:30 to get to the track.

Lol I didn't mean that. I was gonna go to the track friday night, do some runs, then head to the hotel. Then get up early saturday morning and wash the truck and clean it up, then head to your house to finish it, and meet up.

Also i'm going to drive our 09 to the track instead of my car so if any one wants to ride with me and leave your clean car/truck at my house then thats cool.

Sounds good. There is a self car wash about half way from your hotel to my house so you can clean it up there and then head to my house and we will all go to the show from there. Ill want to leave my house about 7a.m. to get to the show.

Sorry guys, haven't been very motivated to get on the forum lately, with the truck and all : / Just dropped it off this morning. Body shop said 3-5 weeks, and should come to about $13,000. They have to change some of my leather seats out, cause they'res glass imbedded that the adjuster didn't note, and my my gig radio has water shadows in it. Some other stuff too, but shouldn't be too bad time wise. I'm figuring I'll have it in 45-50 days. Sucks having to wait that long, but it'll be worth it to have it fixed right. I'm definately still on for JULY!!!!!

Thanks Okla! I'm actually here for 7 1/2 months. It's like 100-120 degrees here, and it gets up to 130-140 in July. So when you guys are enjoying this badass car show, I'll be sweating and busting my ass keeping these damn H3's in the air! = P Wish I could go so bad, oh well, maybe next year. Should be back a couple days before christmas. Truck should be done at the body shop in 2-3 weeks. Hasn't started the paint yet. Well, stay classy all!
