Wasn't much going on this day so Tee said lets take a ride to Kannapolis and get up some of those Buffalo wings. Hmmm, a nice ride and Tee decides while waiting for her food she get a scratch off ticket. She gets that, picks up her wings and we just cruise home enjoying ourselves listening to the radio. As we get to our exit.... I hear a siren... I tell Tee; "Geesh I hate that song you play with the siren; it scares me everytime!" She says "NO we are being pulled over!" WHAT ~ I know we were NOT speeding and we were cruising to the exit. The officer comes up and says "I'm officer xxxxx and I'm from the NC DOT and I stopped YOU because of your tinted windows!" Geesh, we just had these done on THREE of our cars last week ~ Already!!!! Tee says to the officer... "Is this an April Fools JOKE?" I gasp... the officer says "NO maam, this is not a joke, we at the NC DOT are cracking down on tinted windows as we are finding more and more cars that do NOT pass our inspections, however are getting passed by inspections stations!" He scans our windows and says NC LAW requires 32% tint, + or - 3%..... shows us his meter = it reads 34.2%!!! He asks Tee, "Who tinted your windows?" Tee tells him and he says: "Tell your tint man he did a really good JOB!" I then ask HIM "Are you driving a Charger with a HEMI" (couldn't see the car with the blue lights flashing.... ) He says NO, with a smile and says an Impala with a 3.6 Liter! Whew, we head home and kinda laugh about it. I said to Tee....."Why did YOU ask him IF this was an APRIL FOOLS JOKE ~ R U CRAZY??? She says to ME ~ You know my brother Mark is a sergent in our local police force and I thought maybe he was having a friend pull me over to play a trick on ME!!!

What a day just for some BUFFALO WINGS!!!!

We get home being thankful that our car passed the inspection ~ No ticket and Tee then scratches off her ticket she got and this is what she sees..........

that sucks...so did he write you a fix it ticket or what? Here in FL the DOT rarely messes with regulars cars and trucks...they mostly mess with truckers

NOPE.... we passed 32%, + or - 3% =35%! Ours read 34.2%, just under the legal limit! We were very thankful! And when we get home, Tee checks her scratch off she wins $50!

Well it turned out great after all, sucks to get pulled over but at least no tickets or fines for anything so thats great, and congrats on the win lol I think the most I have ever won on any of those was 2 dollars
