Thank's we are excited and a little aprehensive at the same time but sheet metal is available for this one so we should be able to do it without a lot of stress, just i lost my garage for cuda, till we can put on the addition. But my sons vw is now out side he's a little pissed bout that, but he wants to help on the charger too.

We [me] are not looking forward to long hours in the garage but if all turns out good and the cuda turns out good, we may get some intrest from some body that will turn into a paying job.

Great Project car you guys got there, deffinitely looking forward to seeing the project as it moves along, Its always fun and extremely time consuming, at least in my case with my 62 its been over a year and I'm not even half done yet.

I haven't even started my cuda yet every time we schedule the restoration another project takes priority, so it takes a back seat again but i don't mind helpin out my son so he can join me at shows with his own car to be proud of and who knows if it comes out like we hope we may get some outside work to finance my project, only time will tell.

Outstanding project car. It has some great unique Mopar history that separates it from other Chargers:

"The 1973 Chargers sported all new sheet metal, though to the untrained eye only the rear roof C-pillars looked like the only difference from the 1972's. Also new were vertically slatted taillights and new grilles, and no more hidden headlights, even as an option. The 318 was still standard, with the 340 (available only on the Rallye), 400 ( 2 and 4 bbl. ) and 440 remaining as options. The SE models had a new roof treatment that had "triple opera window" treatment surrounded by a canopy-style vinyl roof. All other models had a new quarter window treatment, ditching its AMC Gremlin-style window in favor of a more conventional design."

It looks like it will be a long project, but well worth the time and sweat. I like to use visual aides to help keep focused and keep the motavation level high. Maybe a couple of 'Goal Pictures' in the garage might help. Here is a few...

Thank's for the history and motivation we are prepaired for the long haul we both have little patence but this is going to be a long build as time and finances permit type of thing, but we have learned that doing things right the first time saves you heartache in the end.She comes home this weekend photos will follow. We started on the garage addition tonite it will add 12 feet to the existing garage for a total length of 40 feet plus so both cars [charger/cuda] will fit with the door closed.
