Marion County (Ocala) Sheriff's Office Show

I know there has been some talk about this show, but I figured now is a good time to get a list of who is in for sure. This is also the same day as the wiregrass show for April. Kevin and I were talking about doing the Ocala show (ends at 3) and then shooting right down I75 to Wiregrass.

Here's the specifics.

Fundraiser to benefit the Marion County Sheriff's Office Foundation
Saturday April 2nd, 2011 - 9am-3pm.
Marion County Sheriff's Office Operations Center
692 NW 30th Ave, Ocala

Cruise Across Town for a BBQ Dinner Immediately Following the Show

50 "Best Of" Trophies, People's Choice, Door Prizes, 50/50, Dash Plaques.

Pre register by 3/25 $15 - After 3/25 $20
"Cruise is $10 per person and must be registered by 3/25
(Being as we want to hit up wiregrass too, we'll probably skip on the cruise.)

I think when they mean cruise across town for a BBQ, they mean a cookout - not a BBQ place. I'll see what I can find out.

I was wondering if there was any sort of preference of spots. I ask this because I dont know how all this works quite yet( this is my first show). Is there any way for all the club members to be in one spot or are they first come first served. I am going to register tomorrow so I want to know what I'm doing. This is pertaining to the ocala show.

We all meet before we enter the show, and this allows us to all park together as a club.

We should figure out where to meet up at, I suggest we meet in the parking lot of Gander Mountain, its right down the road and right off the interstate I-75 and SR 40

So does anyone know how a truck driver breaks two tires while delivering them?????


Apparantly this guy used a ratchet strap to hold down a big stack of tires, and mine must have been on the end or something, and he tightened it down so much that he broke the bands on two of the tires. I was supposed to have them on yesterday but now I have to wait until tommorow.

Ok - so to confirm - 8 AM at gander mtn, and if anyone from Pinellas/Pasco area is takin the ride up with us - Kevin's meetin me at a car wash at 6741 SR 54 (west of seven springs) and we're leaving there between 6:30 and 7am.
