My truck would look like without the impact strip on the side of the truck? I am seriously contemplating taking it off...are the 2nd gen impact strips just held on with adhesive or is there gonna be holes there if I pull it off? If there is gonna be holes I will leave it...if not, it's a goner.

It's just adhesive. I'm pulling that and the emblems off next week. If you don't likt the way it looks, you can always get more of it

Lol yep I can almost guarantee you wont want to put it back on, it will give a sleeker cleaner look to the truck but will probably be a pain in the ass to take off

They look sleeker, but I chose to leave them on my magnum wagon.

Anyone getting rid of the "5.7 Liter HEMI Magnum" emblems or the larger HEMI emblems. The ones on our magnums are so small.

Go with what makes you happy. I like the clean debadged look. That or take off the badges and do them in some fancy vinyl. It will give it a different look than a stock lettering.

Hair dryer, dental floss or some light test fishing line, and some paint safe goo gone will make it a breeze.

That goo gone works great no doubt, I used that when I debadged my truck
